HATHA: Hatha yoga is a gentle sequence that focuses on balancing mind-body with physical exercise, or "asana", with an emphasis on breath awareness. Suitable for all levels.

 

VINYASA: Vinyasa simply means "breath-synchronized movement." Students should expect to move through postures in a fluid-like manner with emphasis on linking their breath with the movement. Postures may vary week to week.

 

YOGALATES: Is a combination class designed to flow through yoga postures while learning how to cultivate a strong core.

PILATES: Is a traditional mat class with a strong focus on proper technique.  This class will start to strengthen your core muscles, teach you principles of pilates and improve your flexibility.

ASHTANGA BASICS: An introduction to the Ashtanga practice. A series of set postures that will be broken down individually so the students have the ability to learn the sequence with proper alignment. Emphasis is on breath awareness and turning the attention inward.

Private Consultation For people who prefer one on one instructions and assists in Yoga or Pilates Machines. Recommended prior to beginning yoga and/or pilates if you're working with an injury or health condition.  Includes:  - Spinal Assessment/ posture analysis  - Flexibility & strength testing  - Range of motion assessment  * All modifications for any injury or discomforts will be discussed, shown and practiced in detail so you can begin your practice safely. ​ ​ ​

Private Instructions

A continuation from the consultation.  Student working with injury/medical condition:  deeper modifications - how to advance in classes safely - quicker results.  Time sensitive students: Having trouble making it to our scheduled classes? A private one-hour instruction will get you all the benefits of a practice at your convenience. Don't do nothing!- book privately. Advancing Students: Want to advance to the next level in your practice? Work privately to safely advance into - stronger binds - Inversions - back bends - stronger core strength and the challenging jump thru! One session a week will bring significant change to your entire body & practice!  ​
